High velocity winds damage the tents in KTR's Warangal meet

Update: 2022-04-21 04:48 GMT
TRS working president KTR's meeting in Warangal on Wednesday was marked by several goof ups. Barely two hours before the meeting, sudden hail and high velocity winds wreaked havoc at the venue of the meeting.

The tents and other arrangements made at the Hayagreevachari Grounds in Warangal were swept away by the gales. Two workers, engaged in making the arrangements at the venue, suffered injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital. They are stated to be out of danger.

Due to the unforeseen damage, the meeting of the party workers in Warangal began one hour late.  As a result, several of the party workers, who came from far-off places such as Narsampet, Parakal and Kamalapur, returned even before the meeting started. Several chairs were lying vacant due to the mishap.

As a result, the meeting went off more like a ritual with several key leaders skipping the event. There was a pell-mell at the venue due to the mishap. The swearing-in of senior leaders Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and Aroori Ramesh as the presidents of the TRS district units too ended up as a tame affair due to the confusion prevailing at the venue.

Interestingly, despite all these, the TRS leaders, including KTR, made longing winding speeches. KTR has targeted the BJP once again during the course of his speech. Of late, KTR has been targeting the BJP and has been ignoring the other rival-the Congress Party.

Interestingly, the print and the electronic media chose not to air footage of the damage caused by hgh speed winds.  They also did not show the empty chairs.
