Hyderabad college student raped for 17 months by Canteen owner

Days ago, The instance death warrant issued on four accused of Nirbhaya rape case ..But it  has not showed any impact and here is one more brutal thing which has happened on Hyderabad.   A 20-year-old student was confined and raped for 17 months by the owner of the college canteen. The girl is a student of a private polytechnic college and the kidnapper is the owner of the canteen in the same college .The girl managed to escape from captivity to reach home and the police had arrested the accused 33-year-old Satya Prakash Singh,

On April 3, 2012, Satyaprakash Singh drugged and kidnapped her from the college and kept her under captivity for 17 months, tortured and raped her. The girl, a resident of Riyasatngar in old city, was kept in different houses on the outskirts of the city since April, 2012 and raped repeatedly by Singh. She even had to undergo abortion once.

 “I was raped, tortured and drugged by him for one month in a room in his flat. Whenever I became conscious, I shouted for help. Then he would threaten to kill me and torture me more,” said the victim in the complaint.

According to her statement, she was given a fruit juice laced with sedatives at the canteen on April 3, 2012 before being abducted. Later, she was shifted from one house to another to avoid detection. She escaped on September 4 when Singh was asleep and reached her home.Cases has been booked on Singh under sections including kidnapping, sexual assault and criminal intimidation.
