Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday made it clear that High Command have taken the decision on Telangana issue. "The decision has been taken but we asked them to postpone the announcement in view of the local body polls," he told.
CM Kiran informed to Congress leadership that he would abide by its decision and will never make destructive decisions that harm the interests of either the state or the party.
Kiran Kumar Reddy's remarks clearly hints Congress leadership hasn't given much importance to his United Andhra stand during the meetings in Delhi. As a loyal servant to the party, he still decided to follow the mandate and getting ready to face the ire of people in his region.
Gram Panchayat elections will come to an end on July 31st. The announcement on Telangana is expected in the first week of August. The sudden presence of Para Military forces in the Seemandhra region indicates Centre has voted for separate statehood.
