Narendra Modi, the serving Prime Minister of India emerged as a global leader and the heads of other nations also consider him a big leader. However, Narendra Modi has been facing severe criticism for the past few weeks due to various reasons from various corners.

It all started with Gautam Adani's episode. America-based Hindenburg Research firm carried out a sensational report and alleged that there are many lapses in the business umpire of Adani as the business is indulged in many wrongdoings like starting shell companies. The opposition alleged that Modi supported Adani.

Adding more troubles, the BBC released the old documentary it made on the Gujarat riots questioning the possible role of Narendra Modi, who was the then Chief Minister of Gujarat. The issue even reached the Supreme Court.

Now Hungarian-American businessman George Soros joined the row and made some sensational comments and said that Narendra Modi and Gautam Adani have close ties and Modi's image will be affected with Adani's shares coming down. He even predicted that this would be a big development in restoring democracy in India.

India's External affairs minister S Jaishankar lashed out at George Soros and said that he is a rich person sitting in New York who thinks that his views have relevance in the world. He also said that George earlier made allegations against India that we would deny citizenship to millions of Muslims but the reality is different.

Not happy with George Soros for his remarks, Jaishankar said that there is nothing to worry about as he is "old, rich, opinionated and dangerous." His strong response is in the discussion among the Indians now.
