IPS Vs IAS Fight Turns Ugly: IAS Serves Notice!

Civil servants hold a big position in a democracy like India to take care of law and order. Though not only serve as the main channel to take care of general administration but also are responsible for maintaining law and order. Compared to other services, Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and Indian Police Services (IPS) are at the top position.

However, Karnataka is seeing an unwanted scene with the fallout between an IAS and IPS officer. The fight made its way to public life as the two officers made sensational comments against each other. Private pictures of the IAS officer are said to have been posted by IPS on her social media.

The IAS officer and IPS officers who fought are Rohini Sindhuri and D Roopa. IPS officer Roopa made some sensational allegations that the IAS officer indulged in corruption and sent her pictures to other male IAS officers. Having made the allegations, the IPS officer said that sending such photos is a violation of conduct.

The issue reached a spot where the Karnataka government led by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai served notice to them seeking an explanation for what has happened as of now. They are yet to respond to the notice.

The Fight between the IAS and IPS officer took an ugly turn as the IAS officer reportedly served a notice. Saying that the derogatory comments made by the IPS officer will hinder her image and asked her to issue an apology in less than 24 hours. The notice says that legal proceedings will be started against her.

Through her lawyer, IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri sent a notice to the IPS officer. Saying that the allegations the IPS made are very serious and cannot withstand she sought an apology within less than 24 hours or else warned of serious action.

In the notice, the details of the posts made by the IPS officer against IAS Rohini Sindhuri were mentioned including the date of making the post. The IPS officer was also asked on what basis she made the allegations that the IAS officer went for a settlement with an MLA. We have not seen any ugly fight between IPS and IAS.
