The new President of the United States, Joe Biden, who took oath as the 46th President of the United States earlier this month will have to tackle the serious threat caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Joe Biden administration has intensified the measures to curb the Coronavirus infections by vaccinating the Americans with the Covid-19 vaccinations. The count of vaccinations has also been increased rapidly.

As part of the preventive measures, it is said that Joe Biden is in plans to ban non-US citizens from nearly 26 nations, including European Union, UK, Brazil, and South Africa.

Joe Biden is said to be thinking of reimposing travel restrictions in the wake of growing fears surrounding the new strain of the Coronavirus detected in the United Kingdom and South Africa.

Both the strains are more deadly and transmissible compared to the previous Covid-19 causing strain detected from the Wuhan province of the Dragon country China.

The United States is teh worst-affected nation in the world with the Coronavirus outbreak. The infections have been increasing since November 2020 making it difficult for the authorities to tackle the situation.

Earlier, Joe Biden Administration has focused on the preventive measures of Coronavirus and urged the Americans to continue wearing face mask outdoors and maintain physical distancing.

The United States is hoping that with the new restrictions on travel from other nations, the country can stay safe from the deadly outbreak of the novel Coronavirus.
