Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kanna Lakshminarayana created a sensation by resigning from the party. Though reports on this are doing rounds for some time he earlier condemned the reports. But he made the reports true and resigned from the party. He made some serious comments about the party leadership.
Kanna said that things are not well in the party and Somu Verraraju is doing justice to his role and he is taking decisions single-handedly. Saying this as the reason he resigned from the party. It is said that a few other leaders also left the party.
His resignation row once again highlighted the internal issues. There are allegations on Somu Vcerraju and GVL Narasimha Rao that they are not letting others grow and they take decisions as per their wish without considering others. Kanna said the same after leaving the party.
Giving a twist to the row, BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao said that there is no truth in what Kanna said and he was given good preference in the party and even in the National Committee as well he was given a chance.
Talking about the allegations Kanna made against Somu Veerraju, GVL said that all the decisions the BJP AP chief are approved by the leadership and he never took decisions single-handedly. Supporting Somu Veerraju, GVL said that there is no truth in the allegations.
