How KCR made Muslims happy at Iftar Party?

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is determined to fulfill the promise he made to the Muslims of the state prior to the 2014 General Elections. That's nothing but granting 12 percent reservation to them!

Now, A special session of Legislative Assembly will be convened by TRS Government to pass the resolution granting 12 percent quota to the Muslims in proportion  to the their population. While sharing the good news, KCR claimed he would never ignore the promises he had given. He added, 'The committee which was constituted to look into Muslim reservation will submit the report soon. After receiving the report, A special session will be convened to pass the resolution and send it to Centre for approval'.

KCR made this statement at the Iftar party hosted at Nizam Grounds for Muslims in the holy month of Ramadan. He informed about 120 minorities residential schools will be opening this academic year in Telangana and State Government bears the expenses to the tune of Rs 3,900 crore. He also points out the allocation of Rs 1,200 crore for Minority Welfare Department.
