Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao found fault with University of Hyderabad for organizing Kiss Festivals in the campus. He claims to be shocked to know events such as kiss festivals are conducted in Universities. 'How can anyone accept such events?,' he questions.

He informs about the amendment to Universities Act done under TRS rule, only to make sure Government alone but not Governor has the powers to appoint chancellors and vice chancellors. He adds, Committees have been constituted to identify deserving individuals for such respectable posts.
