Two Legends: One of them Wins, The other one Loses!

Two Legends retired from Cricket almost at the same point. While one of them is Sri Lankan left-hander batsman/keeper Kumar Sangakkara, The other one is Australian skipper Michael Clarke. They have left a mark of their own with a glorious career spanning over a decade. While Clarke ended his career with a win inspite losing the Ashes series in England, Sangakkara's journey came to an end with a huge defeat in 2nd Test against India.

Kumar Sangakkara (38):

134 Tests: 12,400 runs, 38 centuries, 52 half-centuries. 11 out of his 38 Centuries are Double Centuries. He occupies No.5 spot in All Time Highest Run Scorer (Tests).

404 ODIs: 14,234 runs, 25 Centuries, 93 half-centuries. He holds the record of scoring four consecutive centuries and that too in the World Cup tourney.

Sangakkara is part of Sri Lanka T20 World Cup winning team. He was also part of the Sri Lankan Team which made it to the ICC ODI World Cup finals twice (2007,2011).

Michael Clarke (34):

115 Tests: 8,643 runs, 28 centuries, 27 half centuries. Highest Score: 329
245 ODIs: 7,981 runs, 8 centuries, 58 half centuries.

Clarke has been part of the team which won two ODI World Cups & two Ashes Series.
