KCR, CM of Talagana announced Kalyana Lakshmi scheme to help the poor families during the marriage of their girl child.

Taking inspiration from it, Movie Artists association introduced Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme for poor artists families. It is tough go find a groom or a bride for children of artists, and even if they do, for many the expenses are too much to bare.

So, the MAA with the help of popular and well settled actors decided to launch this scheme and they announced it during the Diary releasing event on 24th December.

Superstar Krishna-Vijay Nirmala couple decided to give Rs. 1.5 lakhs to each girl who is from poor background and Krishnam Raju-Shyamala couple decided to give Rs. 1 lakh to each girl.

The president of MAA, Sivaji Raja asked many others also to come forward and help them continue the scheme successfully.

Till now, his tenure has been facing toughest challenges and his reactions to events have become controversial, but he has become the person to introduce such welfare schemes and show vigour to continue doing them.

He is trying hard and we have to appreciate the effort. But will needs to keep these good deeds going and establish a transparent order at MAA, giving no place to controversies and mistakes.

Also the pension scheme is said to be going good but it is happening on the behest of much popular actors. If MAA can get a fund from Government and an assurance for the scheme to be continued, then that will be the real and biggest victory for MAA.
