Mission AP: Can BJP succeed with Rayalaseema Ranabheri?

Update: 2022-03-19 08:11 GMT
The saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party is in its prime form right now. Despite severe criticism over Covid handling and alleged Hindu-Muslim hatred, the party had won Uttar Pradesh and three other states displaying its stronghold on the northern and northeastern belt.

Despite this, there is one thing that the party has been failing to do. The BJP could not get a stronghold in Andhra Pradesh during the combined state and in the divided state too. Now the party is aiming to change the trend.

The BJP wants to spread its wings in the southern states as well and especially, the party wants to foray into Andhra Pradesh. For the same, the party had joined hands with Pawan Kalyan's Janasena. Despite trying its hand in the local body polls and Tirupati polls, the party could not open its account in AP.

However, the Andhra Pradesh wing of BJP is very adamant about its goal to get strong in the state. As a shot in the arm to the efforts, the party had made elaborate arrangements for the Rayalaseema Ranabheri program. The program is aimed at launching an attack against the YCP to highlight how the government is not prioritizing the Rayalaseema region.

The experts believe that the BJP decided to hold the meeting in Rayalaseema to target the government as CM Jagan hails from the same region. They want to take the message on Rayalaseema getting ignored by the government to the public.

As the BJP is riding high on the success of the recent general elections result, the party wants to take the success in Andhra Pradesh as well. On the other hand, Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) had picked up in a big way in fellow Telugu state Telangana and emerged as the opposition party in the state.

However, the BJP is aiming at the bullseye, which is forming the government in Andhra Pradesh. We have to wait and see if BJP can repeat what it did in Telangana or other states. The main issue faced by the saffron party in Andhra Pradesh is that it has no noted faces except for two or more leaders.
