All eyes are on Telangana to know what happens in the general elections that are slated for commencement this year. Before the general elections, the state is all set to witness the MLC polls. Three positions fell vacant as the tenure of representatives is coming to an end.
Without any doubt, the ruling BRS would win the polls given the two-thirds majority it has. The opposition parties, Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party have less than 15 seats combined. So there is no question of opposition parties posing a tough fight.
However, it is said that the ruling party is facing pressure as far as the elections are concerned. The political experts are saying that Chief Minister KCR is under pressure on whom to pick as the candidates. Usually, many factors are considered before selecting the candidates.
Aspects like the community and others are considered. But the situation is different here. The BRS leadership is said to be under pressure on whom to select. The party is unable to take a call on whom to pick, sidelines leaders or senior leaders.
