The United Kingdom shared good ties with India and the western nation is a good friend of ours. In many instances, the United Kingdom stood with us. When we sent supplies to the United Kingdom during the Covid outbreak, the United Kingdom Prime Minister took a reference of Ramayan to thank India and the government.

The United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited India a few times since the start of the pandemic. This led to a rise in criticism towards him. The opposition party leaders and legislators from his own party started criticizing him over Covid management and the alleged corruption he is involved in.

The British Prime Minister started to face criticism from the Covid management row. There is huge criticism against him that he violated the Covid norms and held meetings. Many accuse him of holding meetings when Covid was at its peak and driving the Covid force in the nation. On top of this, Boris Johnson is also facing allegations of collecting funds for his house makeover expenses.

The Prime Minister faced a no-confidence vote in the house. Surprisingly, the motion was led by his party's MPs. In the much-talked-about motion, the Prime Minister managed to escape it with a close margin. There is a mere difference of 60 odd votes that were polled for and against him.

It is very rare to see that MP's of the same party are not happy with the Prime Minister and want him to resign from his post. It was the Mp's from the Prime Minister's party who started the demand for his resignation.

When an alleged scandal of parties where attendees were invited more than the limit making it tough for them to get proper seating was unearthed by an official, the Prime Minister started facing questions mainly from his party members.

Since then, the Prime Minister has been facing a wide range of criticism due to various reasons. The leader of the house reportedly gathering funds to repair his posh house did not go well with many as they started questioning the Prime Minister. As there are many aspirants for the PM post. Johnson has to be careful. If both party members come to a joint agreement then he has to lose his post.
