MP Says Slapping Officials will make one as Leader!

Update: 2022-04-16 10:48 GMT
It has become a fashion for the BJP leaders to make some objectionable comments and stay in the middle of the news. In the recent past, many leaders have grabbed attention with their comments. From how women should dress and how the festivals should be celebrated they have opinions on almost everything.

Joining the list, an MP, who has a history of making controversial statements, had kicked up a political storm by saying that whoever slaps a collector or commissioner will be seen as a political leader. He made these comments while addressing the party workers.

BJP leader and serving MP from Madhya Pradesh Janardan Mishra had reportedly said that anyone who slaps a district collector or a commissioner will get the mileage as a political leader and this shows a person as a strong leader.

He made these comments while drawing a comparison between the current time and his early days as a politician. Walking down the memory lane, Mishra alleged that, in those days people used to get a leader image when they slapped district collectors or commissioners.

Such actions used to get everyone's attention and they were seen as political leaders. The MP even alleged that leaders in those times showed interest in doing such things as they boost their image as leaders

The shocking thing is that many stalwarts of the Madhya Pradesh wing of the BJP were present at the party event and they did condemn his comments, while the party workers cheered and clapped for his comments.
