AP Straight Away Reported Less Number Of Fresh Cases For Three Days

In a piece of good news, Andhra Pradesh reported a dip in fresh cases of the ongoing pandemic for three consecutive days in a row. In a single day, AP reported 6,780 fresh cases.

The health bulletin states that the count of samples tested for the dreaded virus was reduced again and 44,578 samples were tested and 6,780 infections were detected. With this, the total cases zoomed to 2,96,609.

The rapid growth of fatalities in the state is an area of concern as the total fatalities in connection with the virus mounted to 2,732 including 82 people succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours.

On a brighter note as many as 7,866 people recovered from the virus in a single day taking the count of total recoveries to  2,09,100, while the active cases stood at 84,777.

The recoveries have been increasing from the last three days in the state and on Sunday, Andhra Pradesh reported record recoveries with 10,117.

East Godavari, Kurnool, and Anantapur regions are the worst-affected districts in the state. These regions are declared as the hotspots for the virus by the authorities.
