Telangana Chief Minister KCR and early elections almost go hand in hand. At regular intervals we get to hear that the Chief Minister wants to go for early polls to get the advantage as the other parties are yet to finish their arrangements and map for the elections.
In the 2018 elections, he did the same. Seeing that the opposition parties in the state came together to form a grand alliance for the polls and there might be an edge in the elections, KCR went to early elections and recorded a good win. He also raised the Andhra-Telangana issue before the elections.
The ongoing political developments say that there is a similarity between 2018 and the current scenario and he reportedly wants to dissolve the government and go for early polls. As the Chief Minister wants to focus on national politics, KCR reportedly aiming to finish the polls in the state.
The reports gained momentum after the Telangana government shuffled over 90 officials of various cadres. A few IAS officers were also shuffled all of a sudden. This made many feel that the Chief Minister might be in plans to go for early polls.
The Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress are getting stronger in the state and they might pose a big threat. The BJP is saying that it will come to power in the state. So the two parties might be a threat. To counter this, KCR is allegedly planning for early polls.
The latest information is that the next edition of the BRS meeting will be held in a few days in the state and at the event KCR might make a big announcement. If Everything goes well then the BRS meeting would give a big update on possible early polls.
