NIA Conducts Multiple Searches Against Banned Agency and Cadre!

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is focusing on the alleged plans to carry out terror attacks in the country. A few weeks back three people were arrested in Hyderabad. It is said that they received funds and raw materials for the attacks. One of the accused was arrested earlier too on the same charges.

Now the agency is said to have received information on the possible threats and it is carrying out raids and searches in multiple locations. The crackdown is going on against the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its cadres. Multiple searches were held and two arrests were made allegedly.

As per the media reports, the searches were held in Jaipur, Kota, and Sawai Madhopur. It is said that during the raids the investigating officers seized sim cards and other materials. Two people are believed to have been arrested. While one person is said to have been arrested in Bengaluru another person was arrested in Rajasthan.

The investigating officers alleged that the accused are involved in illegal activities and they tried to push the youth towards the wrong direction. On the same charges and evidence to prove the allegations the accused are believed to have been arrested.

It has to be mentioned here that the national agency has been dealing with the banned agencies with an iron fist. Earlier a few arrests were made in Kerala and other places after banning PFI. Multiple raids by the agency raised many eyeballs.

Going by the information, the PFI conducted multiple searches in various locations in January. Cut to one month the NIA started a few searches and arrested two people. The arrested people might be produced before the court.
