No Ragging Happened For Preeti In KMC?

The suicide attempt made by a Kakatiya Medical student in Telangana created a sensation. The student unions are protesting alleging that the female student attempted due to harassment from a senior student. However, DMO Ramesh Reddy rubbished the allegations. Medical Education Director Ramesh Reddy made it clear that no ragging happened. He said that a committee was formed for the investigation of Preethi's case, and further action will be taken after the report gets out.

Narendra, the father of the victim is alleging that his daughter is not getting the correct treatment at the NIMS. He also expressed his dissatisfaction that no information about his daughter has been given since yesterday. He also said that the Police are also responding despite filing a complaint. He demanded that strict action should be taken against the guilty.

However, doctors issued a health bulletin on Preeti's condition just a while ago. They said that her condition is critical and a few organs failed. NIMS doctors said that she is being treated on a ventilator and ECMO support is being provided.

A team of five specialist doctors at NIMS is treating Preeti. NIMS doctors said that they are giving their best in treating her.

It is said that Preeti's heart stopped a couple of times while she was shifted to Hyderabad NIMS from Warangal. The heart started working again after CPR was performed on her.

Preeti who hails from Mondrai village of Kodakandla mandal of Jangaon district is pursuing her first year of PG(Anesthesia) at the KMC. There are allegations that a senior harassed Preeti who is training at the Warangal MGM hospital. Preeti faced mental stress with that and took an anesthesia injection on Wednesday. Required treatment was given to her after shifting her to the emergency award. She was shifted to NIMS as her condition was critical.
