He and Mallepogu Murali Krishna, who works as a flower decorator are friends. Dinesh is in love with a girl. He recorded a video when he had an intimate situation with his lover and saved it on his phone. Dinesh's friend Murali Krishna saw the video once. He sent the video to his phone without Dinesh's notice.
Since then, Murali Krishna started calling Dinesh's girlfriend and harassing her. He is threatening the girl saying that he would send the video to her family members and relatives if she won't get intimate with him also. She could not take the harassment and attempted to kill herself. She was admitted to a hospital. Dinesh developed a grudge against Murali Krishna for harassing her girlfriend. He decided to kill Murali Krishna.
Dinesh explained his plan to kill Murali Krishna to another friend Kiran Kumar. They called Murali Krishna for a casual meet who is observing a Shiva Deeksha. Dinesh and Kiran Kumar took Murali Krishna to the Panchalinga region, the outskirts of Kurnool. They brutally killed Murali Krishna with a knife.
They took the dead body in an auto and threw it into the HNSS canal near the Nunnur Toll Plaza. They threw the victim's clothes and cell phones in different places and left from there. Murali Krishna's parents searched for him as he did not return home. But they could not find him.
So Murali Krishna's parents filed a case at the Police Station on the 16th of this month in Kurnool Urban. When Police questioned Murali's friend Dinesh, the whole story came out. Dinesh said that he killed Murali as he was harassing his girlfriend. So the cops are searching for the traces of a dead body in the Handri-Neeva canal.
