Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is a strong leader. Though his journey did not start with Bharatiya Janata Party or Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he was made the Chief Minister. His stature is such that BJP created history and won two consecutive terms in Uttar Pradesh and no other party had managed to do so.
His popularity which was restricted to Gorakhpur alone had spread across Uttar Pradesh, the largest populated state in the country slowly. As a result, the Bharatiya Janata Party recorded a landslide victory in Uttar Pradesh and even managed to win the seats where Muslims are in big numbers.
What makes him special from others is his aggressive nature of giving statements. He never shies away from speaking his heart. Despite his comments turning controversial, he won't change his style. Yet again he gave an aggressive speech and warned the neighboring nation Pakistan.
The Kalinjar Mahotsava at Banda in the Bundelkhand region was inaugurated and Yogi Adityanath addressed the gathering. During the address, the Chief Minister breathed fire on Pakistan and warned that it would vanish from the world map if the cannons would roar. He even said that Pakistan would have fear in its heart once the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UP DIC) starts.
The Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC) is a prestigious project worth thousands of crores. Once the project gets effective then it would change the face of the state and make it stand alone from other states.
As per the official website, the worth of the project is thousands of crores, and around Rs 3700 crores in Defence Production at the meet organized in 2018. The main objective of the project is to reduce the dependence on foreign nations.
"The Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC) is an aspirational project that intends to reduce Indian Aerospace and Defence Sector's dependence on foreign suppliers. It took off to an encouraging start with the announcement of investments worth over Rs 3,700 crores in defence production at a meet organised in Aligarh on August 11, 2018," the website said.
Under the rule of Yogi Adityamnath, Uttar Pradesh is being transformed and the infrastructure is being developed and new flyovers are being inaugurated. Last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 296 km-long Bundelkhand Expressway to cut shot the travel distance.
