AP Government issued a GO stopping the prosecution of Nandamuri Balakrishna in a case filed against him in the year 2009 at Narsaraopet.
Balakrishna campaigned for Narsaraopet TDP Candidate Kodela Siva Prasada Rao during 2009 Assembly Polls. It was then a Police Act was enforced in Narsaraopet Town. Still, A huge rally and public meeting was organized.
In connection with it, A Case was booked against Balakrishna, Kodela, his son Sivaramakrishna and 15 Others. Based on the recommendation of DGP Sambasiva Rao to withdraw the prosecution, AP Government's Principal Secretary AR Anuradha has issued GO No.122.
Balakrishna is taking part in the shoot of 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' at present. Scenes of Rajasuya Yagam were being canned by Director Krish. Almost 50% of the talkie portions have been wrapped up so far. Sankranthi 2017 release is being planned.
