Historical 'Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagam' performed by Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao on an unprecedented scale has concluded on Sunday evening with Mahapurnahuthi.

Buoyed by the success of the event, the chief minister is now planning for another ritual. KCR announced that he will  conduct "Prayutha Chandi Maha Yagam" as his next major religious activity.

KCR said he intends to perform the "Prayutha Chandi Maha Yagam" at an appropriate time. In Sanskrit 'Ayutha' means ten thousand whereas 'Prayutha' means ten lakh, that is the priests will repeat hymns for ten lakh times during the yagam.

KCR along with family slept Sunday night at Yagashala and the chief minister is scheduled to visit Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy at Vemulawada and perform special pujas to mark the successful completion of Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagam.
