Rahul Gandhi's Comments Bringing Bad Image To Modi Or India?

Update: 2023-03-07 12:47 GMT
Senior Congress MP Rahul Gandhi recently finished a massive stint in yatra with his Bharat Jodo yatra. The yatra went from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. In the process, Rahul Gandhi met people in various states and inquired about their issues and troubles. Many say that Rahul Gandhi's image increased with the massive yatra.

After the yatra, Rahul Gandhi is now busy targeting the Union government led by Bharatiya Janata Party on various issues. The former Congress President is on a tour of the United Kingdom. As part of the tour, Rahul Gandhi is meeting people from various fields there.

However, Rahul Gandhi's comments on Prime Minister Modi are catching everyone's attention. On many issues, the MP has been targeting the Prime Minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party, and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Rahul Gandhi met the Parliamentarians in the United Kingdom and spoke about many issues. Alleging that the opposition leaders are not meant to speak on certain issues like China threat and others. He also said that the mics of opposition leaders are cut in Parliament so that they won't get to speak.

Saying that there are mics that are functioning, Rahul Gandhi said that the opposition leaders cannot use them and this happened to him a few times. Rahul Gandhi said that the ruling party is switching off the mics of the opposition leaders which is not a good sign of democracy.

It is understood that Narendra Modi is the main political rival of the Congress party. Targeting him is the main weapon used by the party. However, making such statements on a big stage not only brings the wrong image to Modi but also India.

The world sees India as a big democracy. But the recent developments are telling something else. On top of this, Rahul Gandhi is alleging that the opposition leaders cannot use mics in the house as they are not given any chance to speak.

However, there are many doubts about whether Rahul Gandhi's comments are bringing a bad image to Prime Minister Narendra Modi or India on a global stage. BJP supporters are remaining how opposition leaders were targeted when the Congress was in power.
