Rudramadevi Death Mystery Solved?

Update: 2018-01-27 08:47 GMT
There is no clarity on several aspects of history.  Kakatiya dynasty Queen Rudramadevi's death is also one of them.  There are several versions regarding her death.  Some people say that Rudramadevi's death was natural but there are others who disagree with it.   They say that Rudramadevi was killed in a battle with his enemy Kayasthu Ambadeva.   But there are no proofs to support this claim.  In a recent development, archaeologists found two statues of Kakatiya period which may give some clarity on her death.

It is known that a survey is going on the history of Kakatiya rule.  Archeologists are busy surveying the temples and the monuments constructed during the Kakatiya rule for the past few months.  They are touring two Telugu states.. Tamil Nadu..Maharashtra.. Chattisgarh as part of this project and finding out Rudrama Devi statues.

Recently, they have found two statues in Bollikunta village near Warangal fort which can give clarity on Radramadevi' death.  The statues were found in the rocks near the old Shivakeshava temple.  They came to know that these statues were treated as village deities and they had been performing pujas for several years.  Rudramadevi appeared as a warrior queen in one of the statues and another statue gives indications of her death.

The first statue appears like Rudrama is going to a war with a sword, head guard etc.  On the other hand, second statue doesn't have head guard and the face appears to be tired.   Even her horse sculpted still without moving.. Rudrama bent her head down with a dull face.

Researchers in archeology are saying that these things are indications that Rudramadevi must have died in the war like a true warrior and they are quoting other clues like heaven.. Yamadharmaraja's vehicle bull on the statues.
