Schools and colleges shut down ahead of Tiranga Rally

Shops, educational institutions were closed in some parts of Hyderabad for the 'Tiranga Rally' to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill.

The Shops, School, colleges were closed in some parts of Hyderabad, in support of the rally organised by United Muslims Action Committee and headed by AIMIM. The rally is scheduled to begin after the Friday prayers. The public meeting is at the Shilparamam Ground.

AIMIM president Asadiddin Owaisi, Akbaruddin Owaisi, religious leaders and leaders of various organisations were scheduled to attend the rally. The AIMIM made all the arrangements for the rally. The police denied the permission to hold the rally in the city.

Shops school and colleges remained closed in Nampally, Mallepally, Asif Nagar, Mehdipatnam, Masabtnk, Toli Chowki and Golkonda. Trade Associations declared their support to the rally.
