Sensation In Delhi Liquor Case..YCP MP's Son Arrested!

The Enforcement Directorate(ED) had increased its speed in the alleged Delhi Liquor scam. It is creating a sensation with back-to-back arrests. In the latest development, Ongone YCP MP Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy's son Raghava was arrested. He was arrested in Delhi.

Enforcement Directorate officials said that Raghava was arrested after questioning him in the main office in Delhi. He will be produced before the special Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) court in Delhi. The ED sources said that there are chances of seeking his custody to get more details from him in connection with the case.

In a span of just one week, two arrests were made by the investigating officers. It is known that the officials arrested Gautam Malhotra a couple of days back. Raghava is the owner of the Balaji group. As of now, nine people were arrested in collection with the Delhi Liquor scam across the nation. The South group which is believed to have a role in the scam reportedly took his name during the investigation.

In connection with the case, Magunta Raghava Reddy, son of YCP MP Magunta Srinivasula Reddy was grilled by CBI officials in October last year. CBI officials questioned him along with Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Now the Directorate of Enforcement also stepped in and arrested him.

Magunta Raghava is facing allegations that he gave bribes to the Kejriwal government in Delhi through mediators. The ED officials who have been questioning Raghava Reddy for the last two days have arrested him as he is not cooperating with him allegedly.

Abhishek Boinpally, Sarath Chandra Reddy, Chartered Accountant GorantlaButchibabu, and Raghava Reddy from the South group were arrested as of now. Coming to Magunta Raghava, the CBI focused on Angel Champagne Llp and Tamilnadu Distillery Industrial Alcohol Pvt. ltd which belong to the Magunta family besides Balaji Distilleries. It is said that there are a few allegations of irregularities in the production of liquor.

On the other hand, two days back the ED arrested Rajesh Joshi who works for Chariot Media based in New Delhi. On top of this, Hyderabad-based Chartered accountant Gorantla Buchibabu was arrested three days back. Surprisingly, he worked as the PA of Telangana Chief Minister KCR's daughter Kavitha.
