TDP, YSRCP begin psy ops in Andhra Pradesh

It's barely less than a year for the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh and the mind game has started in a big way. Both the TDP and the ruling YSRCP are moving their pawns and are resorting to psy ops. The TDP, which is buoyed up by the recent success in the graduate constituency MLC elections and the MLA constituency elections, is going hammer and tongs against the YSRCP.

Chandrababu himself has begun the mind game saying that there is large-scale discontent among the YSRCP MLAs and that a large number of the MLAs were in direct touch with him. This has left the YSRCP completely unnerved as four of its MLAs have already cross-voted in the recent MLC elections. A shocked YS Jagan has already begun exhaustive reviews of various constituencies and has started talking to the party leaders and MLAs. On April 3, he is all set to hold a massive review meeting.

Meanwhile, former minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy joined the issue and said that several TDP leaders were in touch with the YSRCP and there would be a deluge of defections if only the YSRCP allowed them in. He said that as a disciplined party, the YSRCP will not encourage defections. It is now clear that the mind games are on in AP and both the major parties are going the whole hog.
