Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao called for a press meet and announced that the existing lockdown will be extended till the 7th of May and the Zomato and Swiggy services will be suspended till the further update.
Now Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy addressed the media on the confirmed the same and said that the lockdown will active in the state till 7th May and added that the restrictions were made even more strict.
He went on to say that people who hit the roads without proper reason will have to face the consequences and their passes will be canceled. As the lockdown was extended, the old passes will be canceled and new passes will be issued.
All the government employees will be issued special passes and those who travel within the radius of three km should carry their residency proofs. DGP requested everyone to wear medical masks and follow social distancing norms.
