But things have changed and young people are sustaining heart attacks. We have lost a few famous personalities with heart attacks in India already. Now common people who are in their twenties are passing away. Recently, a 23-old constable passed away from a heart attack while doing exercise in a gym in Hyderabad.

The Telangana government has started the exercise of training around one lakh people on how to give Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). For this, automated external defibrillator(AED) machines are being equipped. Already around 1400 machines were ordered and they will be set up in public places.
