Telugu Desam Party spokesperson Kommareddy Pattabhi Ram became a super firebrand leader now. It will not be an exaggeration to say that no one in TDP or YSRCP can match his aggression and intent. Police produced him before the court after the Gannavaram incident. The Court ordered remand for Pattabhi for 14 days.
Additional Junior Civil Judge directed the police to take Pattabhi to the Gannavaram Sub Jail. The Police asked the court to permit shifting Pattabhi to another place as tension gripped Gannavaram. But in vain. Judge said that the anticipatory permission will be considered.
A couple of days back, Gannavaram politics saw a big fire. YCP and TDP cadres created a ruckus. However, the cops held Pattabhi responsible for this and arrested him. 11 others were also arrested with him.
It is known that the Gannavaram court sent Pattabhi and others to remand. Judge ordered the police to conduct medical examinations as Pattabhi alleged that the Police used a third degree on him. So the police sent others to the Gannavaram sub-jail. Pattabhi was taken to the hospital. He was kept in Police custody as the medical tests lasted till midnight.
So he was produced before the court today. The judge ordered him to be remanded. This case is creating a sensation in Andhra Pradesh politics. Comments made by Gannavaram MLA Vamsi on Pattabhi are also creating political heat.
There is a political scene in Gannavaram between Pattabhi Ram and Vallabhaneni Vamsi. So people belonging to the Telugu Desam Party were arrested by the Police. Telugu Desam party is questioning why no arrests were made from YCP as violence happened from that end too. TDP leaders are also alleging that the ruling YCP is guilty in this as people from it made provocative comments and damaged the party office. They also reminded that the party office was set on fire.
They say that it is politically discriminatory towards Telugu Desam. Now Pattabhi is in the Gannavaram sub-jail as a remand prisoner. The area is seeing political heat now. There is a debate going on to see if any unwanted scenes or violence broke out there.
