Senior filmmaker Thammareddy Bharadwaj held a pressmeet Today to highlight the drawbacks of 'Memu Saitham - We Love Vizag'. He didn't spare anyone , be it Top Stars or Upcoming Heroes or Telugu Heroines.
Quoting SP Balu collecting Rs 1 crore fund for Cyclone Hudhud victims from 2-hour program in Chittoor, Thammareddy stated entire Telugu Film Industry managed just Rs 7-8 crore for a 13-hour live event. He faulted upcoming heroes given a miss to the event, lesser-known heroines skipping rehearsals for late night parties and top heroine not bothering to attend the event. He also slammed Tollywood Stars for not attending Nandi awards.
Thammareddy is all praise for Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Other Senior Stars for active role in 'Antyakshari' forgetting about their Stardom. He opined programs like that will do good to the Industry and offer a new experience to the viewers.
When asked about KCR's absence, Thammareddy informed that Organisers have invited the Telangana CM but he choose to give 'Memu Saitham' a miss.
