Heights Of Superstitions: People Sacrifice 400 Sheep In The Name Of Shanti Puja
Along with the rapid growth, the ongoing pandemic has also resulted in people believing various superstitions and doing some bizarre and stupid things. One such superstition made people kill 400 sheep to cure the pandemic.
This gruesome incident took place in the Koderma district of Jharkhand where 400 sheep sacrificed in the name of Shanti Puja as a bid to protect themselves from the pandemic.
They have sacrificed the sheep at a goddess temple in Urvan village of the district. During this program, they did not even observe social distancing which is quite scary.
Ever since the outbreak started many superstitions surfaced which made people do such crazy and bizarre things. Earlier some people even shaved their heads as a step to fight the pandemic.
Its high time, the authorities should look into the superstitions, or else the situation will turn even disturbing and people will indulge in more such stupid things.
