US Consulate To Operate From Nanakramguda Facility On March 20!

The United States diplomatic mission in Hyderabad, US Consulate General has been providing Visa and consular services for the aspirants for a very long time. To offer better facilities, the Consulate is shifted to a dedicated building that has all the facilities. The new building will be open to the public.

The New Consulate was constructed in the Nanakramguda area of Hyderabad. The state-of-the-art building is said to have been constructed with a big budget of $340. The aspirants who have Visa interviews on or after March 28 have to go to the new consulate for the process.

The Consulate is rendering its services from the Begumpet facility. But the existing facility will stop its services by noon on March 15. The facility will be shut till March 20. The Consulate informed people about the change.

The new consulate will start functioning from the 20th of this month. Taking to Twitter, the US Consulate said that they are moving to the new facility and hence the existing facility will be shut from the 15 to the 20th. The Consulate officers provided an emergency number for people so that they avail of the benifit if needed.

However, there will be no impact on the services of the Visa Applicant Service centers with the US Consulate moving to a new place. The Consulate urged everyone to see that the consulate is moving to a new place and the aspirants to take note of this.

"In order to move to our new facility in Nanakramguda, we will close at 12pm on March 15 and we will not re-open for regular business until 8:30am on March 20. If you are a U.S. citizen who needs emergency consular services during this time period, please call +91 040 4033 8300," the US Consulate said on Twitter.

Earlier, the US Consulate said that it is very happy to announce that a new building is coming into existence to render better services to aspirants. The announcement was made last year. The US Consulate office in Hyderabad is said to be the largest office in India and South East Asia.
