Vangaveenti Ranga's Vardanti Brings Tense Situation In Gudivada!

Update: 2022-12-26 05:42 GMT
Political parties making the best efforts to own popular icons to make their vote banks strong is not new and we have seen this many times. The trend which is popular in the northern belt of the nation made its way to the southern states and such incidents are increasing here.

Talking about Andhra Pradesh in particular Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga is such an icon and the parties are trying their best to paint themselves as pro-Ranga. His community can be a deciding factor in the elections as happened in the 2014 elections.

Moreover, today is the day he was assassinated, and both the ruling YSRCP and the opposition Telugu Desam Party kept themselves busy celebrating the Vardanti of the mass leader. The YCP leaders and TDP leaders are making arrangements for the occasion. This is not the first time both parties fought for Vangaveeti.

Both parties started accusing each other of not respecting Vangaveeti. The YCP leaders like Ambati Rambabu took to social media and started blasting the grand old party by saying that Ranga was killed when the Telugu Desam Party was in power.

Looking at the issue from a critical point of view, Vangaveeti family members like Radha Krishna are with the Telugu Desam Party, and the family members of Ranga's opponent Devineni Nehru are in the ruling YCP. Devineni Avinash is serving as the incharge of Vijayawada East.

If the ruling party is concerned about Vangaveeti Ranga then it should not continue Devineni Avinash and give him the key post. On the flip side why will Ranga's family members join the TDP if they feel that the TDP government might have a role in this.

Radha Krishna is the younger brother of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao aka Ranga. So the two points are contrasting with each other and the ruling YCP has no answer to this. As the Kapu community can impact the vote percentage and elections, both parties are busy luring the community.

Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao was a Congress leader who served as the MLA. Many issues added fuel to the rift between Mohana Ranga and the Devineni family. He was assassinated on 26 December 1988. It is said that Nehru played a big role in this.
