Update: 2020-01-20 07:25 GMT
The much anticipated Assembly sessions have started on an interesting note. Speaking at the house on the three capitals issue, Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy made some interesting comments.

"Many demands have been coming from the sub-regions. There is no comparison between places. Sivaramakrishnan Committee said to set-up ca[pital in non-farming lands and build big cities. Decentralization of ruling and development should be done," the Minister said.

"Shivarama Krishnan Committee submitted reports that Amaravati has weak lands. Hyderabad land has 30 tonnes of bearing capacity while Amaravati has only 9 tonnes. There are a large number of farmers and coolies in the Amaravati region," he added.

The Minister also lashed out at TDP for constituting Narayana Committee while the Shivarama Krishnan committee is still working on the capital issue.
