What CEO Said After Re-Polling In AP?

Chief Electoral Officer Gopalakrishna Dwivedi declared re-polling happened in five locations of Andhra Pradesh in a peaceful manner on Monday. He lauded the Officials of Election Commission for making all the arrangements inspite of the scorching heat.

Mr. Dwivedi informed arrangements for counting on May 23rd will be kickstarted from Tuesday. He told, '25,000 Staff will be required for the counting process. There is a requirement of 180 members in every constituency. Staff will be selected as per randomization in two stages'.

Responding on the TDP Cabinet Meeting scheduled to happen on May 10th, AP CEO maintained that Officials need to act according to the norms of Election Code of Conduct. Which means, Non-Cooperation to the TDP Government by the Officials would continue.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is determined to conduct Cabinet Meeting on May 10th. He questioned why does EC doesn't permit him to hold Cabinet/Review Meeting when PM Modi was permitted to conduct four such meetings in the recent past.
