Is there a disconnect between the ruling YSRCP's local cadre and the team of pollster Prashant Kishor? If reports are to be believed, there is a growing distrust between both the Team PK and the party cadre. The party cadre are increasingly feeling that the Team PK has no connection with the voters of the state and its reports are not to be relied upon.
However, chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has strong faith in the strategies and the tactics being adopted by the team PK. Jagan strongly feels that it was team PK which has helped him win 151 out of the 175 seats in AP assembly. He hopes to tide over the anti-incumbency with the help of the team PK this time too.
However, ground level party workers and even several MLAs strongly feel that the Team PK now is not what it used to be earlier. They argue that Prashant Kishor is not directly involved in strategy making. His acolytes and subordinates are dictating terms. They feel that these people have no idea about the ground realities. They argue that even the 2019 victory was mainly due to YS Jagan's charisma.

They are not said to be cooperating with the team members in terms of sharing of information, giving feedback or implementing PK's programmes.
