Former MP Kavitha faced a big relief in connection with the Delhi Liquor scam at last. After spending time in the Tihar Jail for a few months she was granted bail by the Supreme Court. With this, she walked out of the jail and the BRS cadres celebrated the development.
However, Kavitha’s bail issue is turning out to be a headache for the Congress party which is in ruling in the state. Earlier the comments made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy did not go well with the Supreme Court.
The Apex Court slammed the comments made by the Chief Minister and said that people holding big offices should refrain from making such comments. The Chief Minister issued an apology over the issue and said that his comments were taken out of context and extended his apologies.
Yet again Kavitha’s bail issue became an issue for the Congress and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. A post that was made by the Telangana Congress landed the Chief Minister in trouble and a notice has been served to the Chief Minister.
A few posts which were reportedly made by the Telangana Congress on Kavitha;’s bail created an uproar and the issue reached the Supreme Court. As per the reports the Supreme Court took a serious note of this and served a notice to the serving Chief Minister.
In the notice, the Supreme Court gave two weeks for the Chief Minister to give an explanation on the posts that were made by the Telangana wing of Congress on social media. Now we have to wait and see what explanation the Chief Minister would give in this regard.
