It is a known fact that TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu is a strong critic of the welfare schemes. On many occasions he opposed the welfare schemes implemented by the current government and expressed his concerns over the burden on the budget. But there was a change in his stand.

Recently TDP-Janasena announced the joint manifesto for the elections. If we look at the manifesto then we can understand that he banked heavily on the welfare schemes or freebies. He even promised corporations to give interest free loans.

Now people wonder whether Chandrababu Naidu is relying heavily on schemes and whether this helps him or not. At the Praja Galam event held in Guntur, he made sensational promises.

The TDP supremo said that pensions would be given to Muslims from the age of 50. Looking at the promises people wonder if he is trying too hard to woo the Muslim community.

Chandrababu Naidu promised Rs 1 lakh for those who go to Hajj Yatra. Besides this he also said that under the Minority corporation Rs 5 lakh interest-free loans would be provided.

He also made a big promise for the Noor Basha community and said that a lending hand would be given under the corporation and also assured the 4 percentage reservation for Muslims.

It has to be mentioned here that there is a big political sensation around the Muslim reservations. The BJP has been saying that it would not implement the reservations for Muslims and divert it to SC,ST and others.

Many say that the promises might have its impact in the elections and TDP might be trying hard to see that it would face the consequences.
