Geetanjali Case: Police Arrest TDP Social Media Activist!

The suicide case of a housewife in Andhra Pradesh turned into a big sensation. The issue also took a political turn. The demand for justice in the case is gaining momentum with common people and activists raising their voices. There are allegations that a section of social media users trolled her.

The ruling YCP took the issue seriously and ordered strict action against those who were responsible. The party leaders said that no one would be spared in this as what happened is not a small thing and needs strict action.

Now the issue saw a big development as a person who is said to be a TDP social media activist was arrested. He is identified as Rambabu and he is said to be a follower of a former MLA. It is said that the Tenali Police arrested him.

As social media trolling is said to be the reason behind her suicide, handles, and pages are said to be monitored to find out who made trolls against her. As part of this Rambabu was arrested by the cops. Further details in the case are awaited.

There are strong allegations social media activists of TDP and Janasena trolled her over a video in which she expressed happiness over getting a patta under a housing scheme.

The seriousness of the issue is that Poonam Kaur also reacted to the issue and demanded punishment. Taking to social media she said that supporters of a party are capable of tolling women. Her tweet added intensity to the case.
