Here comes the much shocking news that Indian community did not want to hear. India has officially reported the first case of HMPV virus. This incident happened in Bengaluru a short while back.
Per the latest media reports coming in from national outlets, it is being established that the first official case of HMPV virus has been identified in Bengaluru.
Apparently, eight month old baby in Bengaluru has tested positive for this HMPV virus and is being treated at a local hospital. Considering the isolated nature of this incident, it is being considered that this could be a case of Indigenous happening, and there is no outbreak as yet.
However, the shocking point here is that the baby had not travelled abroad or anywhere, but somehow still contacted the virus. This is becoming a cause of concern for the time being.
However, the government of India has already mentioned that there is no reason to panic for the Indian public as it is being reported that we have adequate supplies to deal with the situation. But for now, the very fact that the first case of this virus has been reported in Bengaluru is becoming a talking point on social media.
