Ever since the new government took charge in Andhra Pradesh, the alleged wrongdoings in the previous regime have been dug out. The shocking Rushikonda palace is a big example of this. The ultra-luxurious Palace became a big topic in the state and even the national media held debates on the issue.

Now another sensational thing has come out which says that a leading Automobile company had blacklisted AP police due to the previous government. Non-payment of the dues is the reason for this and the new government announced this.

Addressing the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Home Minister Anitha Vangalapudi said that the previous government did not pay the dues for the vehicles procured and hence AP Police was blacklisted by the Mahindra Company.

The Home Minister said that after the new government took charge Rs 13 crores were paid and it is a sad thing that the AP Police was blacklisted by the Mahindra Company.

Highlighting the issue the Home Minister said that the previous government got the vehicles from the Mahindra company but did not pay the dues and hence the company filed a case. After the new government took charge Rs 13 cr was paid, she said.

A leading Manufacturing company allegedly blacklisting AP Police is not a small thing and it speaks volumes about the issue. It is a common thing for the government to get the vehicles for the Police department. Based on the requirements and the wings in the departments the vehicles are selected.

It is known that the previous government launched Disha patrolling vehicles. The vehicles launched on the occasion were of the same Mahindra group. It looks like the previous government did not pay the money for the vehicles which made the company file a case.
