Indian-Origin Appointed As District Court Judge In US!

Be it the medical sector or others, we can see Indians in good positions. They are also playing a good role in the country’s growth as well.
After Joe Biden became the President of the United States, Indian-origin people are taking up good positions as they are being nominated for big positions. Now an Indian-origin person was nominated as a federal judge.
Indian-American Judge Sanket Bulsara was appointed to the New York US District Court. He was given a promotion making him the first South Asian person to serve as the District Court judge.
Sanket has been serving as the Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District since 2017. Now he was given a promotion and was appointed to the New York US District Court.
He was born to immigrant parents. His father worked as an Engineer with the New York Municipality. His mother was a Nurse by profession. His parents migrated to America from India and Kenya.
Earlier he served as an associate at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP in Los Angeles, California between 2003 to 2004. Later he served as the Special Assistant District Attorney in Kings County (Brooklyn).
The Indian-origin judge has been serving as US Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of New York since 2017. He was given a promotion. Bulsara is an expert in securities, contract, bankruptcy, and regulatory matters. This makes him not just the first Indian to get appointed in the post, but also the first South Asian American to get appointed.
