The Board of Control for Cricket in India is a big player in the world of cricket. The cricket governing body enjoys massive revenue and is the key contributor to the international cricket body International Cricket Council(ICC). As an example of BCCI’s strong position, India did not go to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup and the matches were held in Sri Lanka.

The same BCCI is reportedly looking for a new head coach for the Men’s team. Mr Dependable player Rahul Dravid is the serving coach of the team. It is said that a few people applied for the big post and are in the race.

However, a former Australian Coach is reportedly fearing to take up the job due to the pressure that comes with the post. Not only that he even said the pressure and politics are more in the coach position,

Earlier it was reported that Justin Langer applied for the coach position of the Indian team. Now he reportedly said that he backed out of the race after realising that he had to face thousands of times of stress and politics.

While what he said came as a big surprise to one and all, the reason he gave was equally shocking. He quoted KL Rahul as saying this. He said that he had a conversation with KL Rahul about the coach job and the response KL made him back out of the race.

Justin Langer said that KL Rahul told him about the pressure and politics one has to face as the Head coach of the Indian team. With this, he backed out of the race. His reaction is now grabbing everyone’s attention.

Netizens say that KL Rahul might have shared his thoughts on the coach post as he was with the team and played under a few coaches. After seeing things he saw during the stint with the Indian team he might have shared the thoughts.

This started a debate on whether coaching the Indian team is more stressful than coaching an IPL team. Moreover, Justin Langer coached the Australian team earlier. Despite this, he is not showing any interest in becoming the coach.

It's been a long time since India lifted the ICC trophy. The last time India won the trophy was in 2013 under Dhoni's captaincy. Since then India did not win any trophy and this might also be a reason behind this. In the 2023 World Cup, India lost to Australia in the finals.
