New Trouble For Thalapathy Vijay Politically?

Big stars in Tamil Nadu venturing into politics is not new and the trend has been going on for a long time. Three people from the films went on to become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. MGR who was the legendary actor rose to the CM post. This is the long-standing trend there.

Taking forward the trend Thalapathy Vijay who is regarded as the top star in the Tamil film industry took a big step. He announced a new party named Thamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam recently. However, it will take some time for the party to swing into action as the party aims for the next general elections, but not the Lok Sabha elections.

Now Vijay is said to be facing the issue of being labeled as Team-B. As per the political circles, Vijay is reportedly dubbed as the B-team of the BJP. DMK which is a strong opposer of the BJP is said to be targeting Vijay as the B-team of the party.

On the other hand, a section of BJP leaders are alleging that Vijay might be the B-team of DMK to checkmate firebrand leader Annamalai. Two parties are said to be busy labeling Vijay as the B-team of the other parties.

While the general elections are not very close, there would be a big threat to the party. If the reports that are doing rounds gain momentum then things would be tough.

Labeling stars as B-team of BJP is not new in the state. When Rajinikanth announced that he would join politics, a debate was started that Thalaiva might be the B-team. The Superstar did not enter politics due to his health conditions.
