Sujana Chowdary In Race From Vijayawada Region?
Adding more interest to politics, BJP leader Sujana Chowdary made some crucial comments.
The Vijayawada politics saw a big development with sitting MP Kesineni Nani and a few supporters left the TDP and joined the YSRCP. His decision gave a positive outcome as he was announced as the MP candidate from the temple city Vijayawada from the YSRCP party. Political observers say that the dynamics changed in the region now.
Adding more interest to politics, BJP leader Sujana Chowdary made some crucial comments. The former Rajya Sabha member said that he could win the elections if he contests from Vijayawada and he informed the same to party. I am with the BJP and informed the leadership about this. I am awaiting the leadership’s decision, he said.
Expressing his desire to contest from Vijayawada, Sujana Chowdary said that the party would take the final call on the alliance and the leadership would take a call on this soon. On the occasion, he also spoke in favour of Amaravati and urged the voters to think about Amaravati while voting.
Kamma community is very strong in the region and it can be the decking factor there. Kesineni Nani won two elections as MP from there and this is an example of this. This might be the reason behind Sujana’s interest in contesting from Vijayawada.
On the other hand, we are hearing that BJP might join hands with TDP and Janasena. If the alliance gets finalised the BJP would get some seats and if one seat is allocated to BJP, Sujana might get a chance.
Even if there is no alliance the BJP has no candidates in the state. With this Sujana Chowdary might get the seat he wants unless there is no competition. It appears that there is no competition for the seat as of now.
Moreover, the Amaravati issue might help the BJP. The AP BJP has been supporting the proposal. The Centre has announced Amaravati as the capital city multiple times. These factors would also help the party. Let us wait and see.
