Having passed the Telangana test, the Congress party shifted its focus to another Telugu state Andhra Pradesh which will go for elections in a few months. The party wants to repeat what it did in Telangana.

As part of this, the party is likely to invite YS Sharmila into the party and make her the state chief of the party. If this happens, then it would be a sensation as far as the party is concerned.

Tomorrow is a big day for the Congress and its leaders as it marks the formation day. The party was founded on December 28, 1885. As tomorrow has a lot of significance it is being reported that we might hear big news.

It has been reported that YS Sharmila is going to the national capital Delhi and she might take the Congress route on its formation day. We might hear official news on this from the Congress party.

Earlier it was reported that YS Sharmila would join the Telangana Congress. However, a few leaders objected to this and questioned the move. They reportedly stressed the Andhra roots of YS Sharmila. At the last moment, her joining was canceled. In the recent polls, she supported the Congress party.

As the Congress leaders had issues with her joining the Telangana win, the Congress leadership reportedly asked leaders for their opinion on inviting her into the party in AP and they gave a positive response, according to reports.

Moreover, the Congress party wants to bounce back in Andhra Pradesh and is in search of credible leaders. YS Sharmila appears to be a suitable name as she is the daughter of YSR, a celebrated leader. Her legacy might work for the party in the state. For the same reason, the party wants to make her the state chief.
