Aged 2 and 4, they went behind their apartment complex located in Holtsville. The family who searched for the kids near their surroundings have called 911 with the situation getting tense. The first responders arrived to the situation and began their search. They found the two girls drowned in water and immediately shifted them to Stony Brook Hospital in New York.

The directors confirmed they passed away already. Everyone was deeply saddened by this as not many go to the back of the apartment barring some bikers in that area. While the pond was well-maintained, it was reportedly dangerous which signified the importance of vigilance on children at all times.
