In the polling that happened on the 13th of this month, massive numbers were recorded. With this two types of opinions are doing rounds. An interesting discussion has been going on in four seats.
AP recorded high numbers in the polling. The experts say that this is the highest in the last forty years. While the alliance leaders are dubbing the massive polling numbers as an indication of negative sentiment towards the government, the YCP leaders are saying that this is a pro-government vote as people voted in big numbers to see that the alliance won't come to power.
Keeping this debate aside, the YCP is said to have taken four seats seriously. They are adamant about winning the four seats. In three out of the four seats, YCP fielded women candidates. Let us have a look at the seats.
Can YCP win Kuppam?
Kuppam is the strong fortress of Chandrababu and he is unstoppable there. It is said that Jagan wants to win the seat this time. YCP fielded Bharat as the candidate and assured the Ministry if he won Kuppam. Jagan promised never-before development in Kuppam.
YCP showed its dominance in the local body elections. Chandrababu toured Kuppam multiple times. Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy was reportedly given the responsibility of winning the Kuppam seat. However, people say it is not an easy task.
Even if YCP could not defeat Chandrababu, it would be a big win if it manages to pose a big fight and reduce Chandrababu Naidu’s majority in Kuppam.
What About Pithapuram?
Pithapuram is the most-talked-about constituency in the state in the recent elections. As Pawan Kalyan is the candidate, the Mega family and small screen actors campaigned for him.YCP candidate Geetha also worked hard.
Jagan toured Pithapuram on the last day of the campaign and said that Geetha will be made the Deputy Chief Minister if she wins the seat. With this, many say that the dynamics in Pithapuram changed at once. A discussion is going on about who wins the seats.
Can Lokesh Win Mangalagiri This Time?
Young leader Lokesh who held key portfolios between 2014-19 lost the election from Mangalagiri. He lost the seat to YCP’s RK with 5,337 votes. Nara Lokesh is saying that he will win the seat with a big margin of 50,000 votes.
On the other hand, Jagan fielded Murugudu Lavanya as the candidate in Mangalagiri. It is said that YCP wants to defeat Lokesh in Mangalagiri again. Special strategies were drawn by the ruling party reportedly. We have to see if Lokesh wins Mangalagiri this time or not.
Is Hattrick Possible In Hindupur?
Nandamuri Balakrishna contested the third term from the Hindupur seat. He won the 2014 elections with a 16,000 majority and the 2019 polls with an 18,000+ margin. Balakrishna is confident of a third win with a big margin. It is reported that Balakrishna might get a cabinet berth if the alliance comes to power.
Jagan used the BC mantra agaunist Balakrishna in Hindupur. As part of this, Koduri Deepika was fielded as the candidate. Reports say that the wave is in favour of Balakrishna. However, it is said that BCs came under one roof to get power in Hindupur.
